Dr. Brent Moore studied at the University of British Columbia where he obtained a Bachelor of Science and a Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD). In dental school, he was presented with the Omicron Kappa Upsilon – Eta Theta Chapter Award, the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Achievement Award, and several Community Service Recognition Awards for his volunteer work.
After three years working as a general dentist, Dr. Moore pursued specialty training in Endodontics earning a Master of Science (MSc) at the University of Toronto. He is a registered specialist in Endodontics with the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia (CDSBC) and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC). Dr. Moore was awarded the AAE-DentspIy Resident Award for his research presentation at the American Association of Endodontists Annual Convention in San Francisco. His published research article “Impacts of Contracted Endodontic Cavities on Instrumentation Efficacy and Biomechanical Responses in Maxillary Molars” was selected as an Honorable Mention publication award for the Journal of Endodontics (2016).
Dr. Moore maintains a full-time practice specializing in endodontics where he provides ethical, gentle and compassionate care. He also currently serves as Clinical Associate Professor at UBC instructing clinical endodontics for dental students. He is a current member of the following organizations: Canadian Academy of Endodontics (CAE), American Association of Endodontists (AAE), British Columbia Dental Association (BCDA).
